You're right. But Microsoft deserves <most> of the blame. They've only known about the problem for a couple of decades. And they still can't get Windows 98 to operate properly without more Y2K and daylight savings bugs. "I'm sorry DAVE - all those monetary units that were wasted when the millenium hit" as HAL said. Don't think that Microsoft isn't going to be sued over this. That will cost legal fees, whether or not they are vindicated.
