To All: Am looking for informations on experiences trading options on E*Trade. Recently applied for margin/option account, so I have not yet actually used this capability online yet. For instance, buying covered calls.... it appears you Buy To Open and then Sell to Close (judging from help screens) but I find no mention of exercising the option at the strike price. If strike price is reached, how expedient is it to exercise the option (buy stock at strike price) and then sell stock at market price? Does E*Trade allow the use of account margin to excercise options at strike price? I have also addressed questions to E*trade, I was just looking for feedback from users who have actually done this.
Thanks in Advance.
