Thanks, it's really interesting being around these things.

When most people hear "server" they think of one of those smaller Compaq or Dell units - the IBM AS/400E is really a mainframe. If I recall you can put up to 64 processors in this baby and I love the idea of being able to seamlessly "separate" it into several apparent servers. You could have part of it running your internal business and the rest safely running your e-commerce. Another advantage to this is that you can take one partition offline, update your website and then let it upgrade the other partitions as it can. Doing it this way means you never have to have your website down. :-)
