Comrade Kulick! Velcome To Amerika! This lovely land has treated my Slavic family Dobro!. I hope yours will love it too. America is still the coolest place on the planet, though Tapei and Tokyo have their charms too.

Yup, Intel will try to come into our (ATI & S3's) space. Don't believe their carefully crafted press releases. Per my first response at (http://www.techstocks.com/~wsapi/investor/s-710/reply-7725) and the ones since, I think Intel enters our space in the summer of 1998. Not in 1997, but 1998. They start at the high end and follow the price curve down. Just look at how fast Pentium prices drop and you'll get an idea of how they can drop that "high end" chip into the motherboard space.

Intel could make lovely margins on graphics with their paid-off fabs. Just think if they integrated the graphics with the chipset, further reducing the costs, an option no one else has. Intel could do this. But, as I stated earlier, I think companies like ATI and S3 will beat them to the sweet spot and some big-wig at Intel will squash their graphics project in late 98. Such fun we'll have then!

Good Luck Comrade!
