The only thing holding back an announcement is whether AMD can actually make good delivery (remember, they are production-constrained) or whether INTC can withstand the pain from those incredibly hot coals beneath their feet. Is it possible that Dell would even think of playing one against the other on a price basis? Fortunately not possible, given the loyalty, integrity friendships etc involved (g). (I'm having trouble with my tongue,....stuck in the upper right corner of my cheek. (g)
