TULSA, Okla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 21, 1999--Heartsoft, Inc. (OTC BB:HTSF - news)
Chief Executive Officer, Benjamin Shell, reported today that the company will shortly announce its
Internet strategy for sale of its new educational software product, Thinkology.

The company also announced that it has begun negotiations with multiple potential joint venture
partners regarding distribution of the company's educational software products.

On January 14, 1999, Heartsoft announced its intentions to expand sales of the company's
educational software products into the home and home school markets.

According to Mr. Shell, use of the Internet to distribute the company's newly released Microsoft
Windows 98® (Nasdaq: MSFT - news) and Apple Computer iMac (Nasdaq: AAPL - news)
products will be the back-bone of the company's new home market sales strategy.

Further, Mr. Shell indicated that the company has begun negotiations with several large publishers in
the U.S. regarding distribution of the company's current product lines as well as discussions
concerning development contracts in which Heartsoft will utilize its proprietary authoring platform,
the Knowledge Construction Set, to develop educational software products for other publishers in
areas which do not compete with Heartsoft.
