Doing my field research from the Time Out Sports Pub at the Ramada Inn, I noticed the highest volume of people BEFORE the halftime show. Once the free buffet was served, peopple ate and cleared out so viewership dropped to perhaps one third pre-show levels. Also cognitive functions and shape recognition skills were drastically reduced by then. Add to this the din of the crowd and you can't even make out any audio. You wouldn't have known it was a talking computer! All you would have seen was a box with glowing red lens on it getting bigger and bigger on the screen. What da hell was dat? I dunno pass me the pitcher! From my perspective, I was too busy wiping barbecue sauce off my fingers from the complimentary chicken wings to notice what commercials were out there. -Bill_H
