I think AMD was shocked to find out that Anand was smart enough to figure out that AMD "stacked the deck" by including the 2 Megabytes of L3 cache that contributed MOST of the performance gain. AS I recall, you were one of the first to point this out - even before Anand re-did his K6-3 benchmarks with varying amounts of L3 cache. Paul
