Well, I jacked Jon up in a recent email with tails about
a bad parallel port on an old mobo. It's true: I just found
a bad one in a mobo I've had for a couple of years but
never used the parallel port :(. And I have no USB
devices, so I can't check that. Haven't got a response
yet, though. Still, he'll ultimately save some grief
if he does these things (I'll give him plenty of
grief, as he's only a few miles away <g>).

I've found him very agreeable, so I don't anticipate a problem.
Hoping.
