More on con. call: COncerns (Chambers) Healthy paranoia -gloabl issues: capital spending is increasing everywhere in the world. So, naturally if spending decreases Cisco could be impacted. - competition/consolidation: we projected consolodation. this is happening. we believe these acquistions success will be below 50% - y2K: We antipcate lower exp. due to Y2K issues towards end of calendar year. It should be a one time occurance and will have a rapid rebound early in 2000. - govern. regulations: We are educating government and they are recognizing that the internet is critical to the overall economic health of the US. New regulations could have an impact on the economy [jawboning going on here] -More coming-
