I wasn't here to hype GMGC so I'll keep this short as a response to the couple of people who asked:
General Magic appear to be well positioned as a player in the emerging voice interface/digital assistant market - ie pick up the phone, talk to a computer personality and get your quotes, news, diary, email etc. Add to that voice web browsing and electronic commerce and you get an interesting complement to the GUI web browser.

I have been long GMGC since last April - certainly there was good money to be made in the time. Since then the shares have been trading mainly 5-6. Seem pretty solid here. My view is strong upside potential with potential partners like Qwest and Intuit to help generate much needed revenue and put GMGC's messy past behind it. I don't see a much downside below 5 1/2. Currently the stock is likely to pop well on big news and not do much else in between. May be worth holding a little at these prices.

For more info there are two good SI threads and of course the company web site. Good luck to all and sorry for the diversion.
