The fact that HEC has made it clear that they are prepared to purchase a LARGE block of shares suggests that any residual shorts hiding in the bushes may want to find better cover. Frankly, I don't see the downside potential and LOTS of upside potential based upon impending events with respect to the new attitude of the Columbian oil minister, some production expected shortly, and probable stability and eventual improvement in oil prices. The pendulum has swung too low and will self-correct.
