I do follow the news, but I shun the radio talk shows like the plague. Too many (right) wing nuts. You make a valid point: the Paula Jones case most definitely does influence other sexual harrassment lawsuits. Note that these are civil suits, not criminal cases. What I said was that Clinton's Senate trial will not appreciably affect criminal trials. Only time will tell, and even then the verdict won't be clear cut. I also take exception to your characterization of us "lefties" (I'm a right-handed, left-brain-dominant engineer, by the way ;-). Most of us left-wingers believe truth should have more influence on policy. Take Ralph Nader and Cesar Chavez as just two examples. Both have fought for justice, and Truth has been their ally.
