According to mgmt on the conference call, they are going to sign a major OEM deal with a non North American telecomm company. They specifically stated that there was no intention to dissolve the infra group. With major infra in Brazil, Mexico, Australia, GRTRF, USW, Russia, it does not appear likely to let go as things are finally gaining visibility. Why would mgmt kill earnings just as things are beginning to improve? They have easy earnings comparisons for the next two quarters. I really doubt that they are going to disappoint investors with an untimely restructuring. I do think mgmt is keeping a careful eye on the headcount.
