Alien, if as many believe, the real money in the internet will be earned by the companies that provide the infrastructure, software and support rather than the portals and e-tailers, then your comment may be something to ponder seriously. Perhaps not MSFT, but perhaps CSCO? Does that make sense. For those of you who are unfamiliar with it, NETA is the successor company to McAffee Associates after its merger with Network General. It provides a suite of network security products, encryption, AV software, etc. The company has bet heavily on the success of Windows NT. TTFN, CTC
