Yes you bot it at a discount. Most Closed end funds will trade at a discount. So when you sell, it will also be at a discount. Some people trade the narrowoing of a discount or short premiums, but I dont think your into that. I have found Gabellis only talent is picking multmedia/communication stocks. He seems to be well connected in the industry. But when the industry goes against him ALL of his funds get killed (underperformed). Even the general ones. This ones my favorite of his group (wouldnt bother with the other ones). All of this is IMHO. Pretty dull stuff though not sure you will get much of a following. Good Investing!
