Thread, If the market is a good indicator of future economic events, it would seem to me that at a minimum, based on recent price movement, WDC is on the ropes and will not be a serious contender in the HD market for some time, if ever. My limited knowledge of the industry would indicate that Maxtor would be a major beneficiary from reduced competition in the low end desk top market. Am I right? Are there other candidates? Nice call on the short Stitch. Wish I had had the gumption to follow. What are the chances of Chapter 11 for WDC?
