Interesting trading today in Iridium stock. A number of large trades, handled by DLJ, on the buy side. Stock support is at $31, and it rose 1 9/16, to $33 7/16 today...on a down day for the market. Negative press on Iridium, duly posted on the Globalstar board today, did not seem to have much impact. Are the short sellers covering here? Received my bill for Iridium service. All call detail and charges in order. One oddity, though - a statement in the bill that "the Beta trial period has concluded effective 1-15-99"; I had thought Beta trials concluded when commercial service began (11/1/98). Anyone have a thought here?
