unless things have changed in the last few years since I was there... except for Hong Kong and Taiwan, I saw lots of pagers but no cellphones...please correct me if you know otherwise. there's two sets of prices, one for westerners and big-city folks, and black-market for everybody else. average person only makes $3000 a year or so. They have stuff, just don't ask how they got it.
