Dave, there is somewhere/something significantly WRONG with the figures.

First of all: thanks a lot of your posting with the break-down
of the Institutional Investors according to Thomson Financial Services
in your last mail.

Well I just added-up the numbers and came to around 20% in hand of
institution as of 09-30-96. Assuming the same about Smallcap World Fund's 7.6 %
=> This thing is confusing; many other sources are talking about
60% Fujitsu - 5% SUNW - Rest 17.5% RTEC Employees & 17.5% public. There is NO room for the 20 % additional figures of Thomson Fin.Serv.
This would make a total of "120 % of outstanding stocks" :(
Worse: there WAS NO ROOM for these figures ever - according to the
other sources ALREADY last year, like Yahoo, StockSmart etc.
I am not sure, whether you have got my point

Somehow there is a confusion with the figures, or Institutions
dropped already last year RTEC (and very massivly) ?
Checking the historical graph of RTEC, this theory would not
suprize me too much. On the other hand, I am not too sure,
whether I "should be happy about that theory".
Anyway - let wait for this Friday ...

Regards,

Stefan
