TECD <<<<< The key line from today comes in the CBS marketwatch story: "The company tucked the disappointing news into an upbeat press release, and offered no explanation of the company's disappointing performance. Tech Data officials didn't return calls requesting comment on the earnings announcement." This is a central problem, since people do not like the unknown and so there was a panicked overreaction. The company should have said more than they did. That said, the answers are in the Bradford report--temporary price competition. The company still estimates full year earnings at 2.25-2.28 compared to 1.92 this year. The products are good, and so is the management team. Really fine companies that get crushed like this come back the next day. The selling really climaxed near the close and 21-21 1/2 is very possible near the open tomorrow. >>>>> KZAP
