  TAVA / CMED BioMedY2K:
  From Feb. 01, 1999 CMED Q2 CC:
BTW, does anyone recall hearing any details of the financial arrangement for the BioMedY2K License?
<<< BioMedY2K "...continues to grow. We received bookings in excess of another $ 1.25 million during the second Qtr. of the year and we believe our total opportunities with quotes exceeds $ 10 million." (Potential $ 10 million before 12/31/99.)
  Regarding margins:
"Where our real revenue strength is coming from and our gross margin growth, right now, is the fact that our proprietary products, which tend to have higher gross margins, than our outsourcing work, in fact, is making up a higher percentage of our mix. Coming both from Erbtec and certainly coming from the growth of the BioMedY2K activity which we expect. "
  YTD BioMedY2K Bookings $ 2.5 Million.
Less than $ 500 k in revenue recognition from BioMedY2K during first six months of this year.
Potential orders for the calendar year '99: @ $ 10 million. ("Clearly we won't achieve all of them, and there will be some additions that will be added to that. We think the business is coming along very well. Although, it is always a little bit slower than we anticipate because the hospitals are very slow to move. Even though we only have like 330 days remaining." [Sound familiar?]
BioMedY2K revenue that was recognized during the 2nd Qtr. represented about $ 300 k out of the 15.8 million.
BioMedY2K has grown nicely... "Internal goal of $ 5 million in revenue for FY 99 (ending June 30, 1999). We're struggling to achieve that number because, as you can see, we're ramping up very quickly. We actually will have to book and ship something in the order of a couple million more to achieve that goal by June 30. ... We think it will it be very strong for the remainder of the calendar year -- probably increasing during that time frame." >>>
