Sounds like he thought he smelled smoke. And really - 'scream'? Is a post on the internet more than a whisper in the wind? That word he used is used often on these threads, and is largely ignored. His post would have been long forgotten absent the threat of a lawsuit. But now it is enshrined as part of SI history. The thing I keep asking myself is - Why? Why would that so-common word inspire that particular reaction from that particular company at that particular time? Did he touch a nerve? Could it be that the company considers this thread vital to its chances of success? If so, how will suing StaggerLee aid the company's growth? You're right, Mike - companies 'have the legal right to go after bashers'. But what I'd like to know is why they choose to do so. Don't they have a business to run?
