Just got through tapping into IE 4.0 for my machine at home, a 486/33 with only a 200 meg drive. Talk about bloat ... oh well batck to the topic.

The guy that spoke at the end is obviously correct as anybody knows who has fooled around with different installations. The setup programs copy all kinds of DLLs and make lots of changes to the registry that will definitely affect the running of another program. Bottom line -- they could saboteauge the test easily and who'd be the wiser. Looks like they got caught. Pretty humorous if you ask me.

I used to be so naive, but I've seen so many shenanigans in the last few years ... I'm getting pretty jaded at this point. I guess it is important -- whether or not MSFT has actually broken antitrust laws, but I think it would be good if they were taken down to size just because of the lock they have on the market. They have very poor quality control -- I guess economics just doesn't favor it ...
