I assume you're comparing the NKPL-i6110 & NKL63306 since they are about the same size & weight. It is likely that the Li-ion one has 4 cells in a 2 series x 2 parallel configuration, or 6 in a 2x3. The Li-polymer battery probably has all the cells in parallel. Thus the mA-hr rating would be doubled, but the voltage halved. I would guess that comparing apples to apples (Watt-hours) leads to numbers more like 600/550, or a 9% improvement. That is more likely given that the chemistries are not that different. Anybody know where to buy the Li-polymer pack online?
