Telecommunication stocks are hot at the moment.

It may be that CWO is overvalued. It has high borrowings and low earnings. It has had to pay for cable rollout and has yet to break into local call market.

For this reason Telstra is the best entry into the market.

Whilst CWO is overvalued there is nothing to say that the price will fall either. Funds will acquire it to maintain portfolio exposure to the sector. The same reason that TLSCA and AAPT are in demand.

There is only good news about the Australian economy at the moment. Good growth, low interest rates and Asia probably to improve over the next 12 months.

I would not short such a hot sector. Save your money...add to your TLSCA...the second 19% of the float should come out soon.
