I haven't fully checked it out yet but initially "Creating Webpages For Dummies" by the IDG people looks like a good plain language read. In spite of their silly titles, most of these books are really good on most subjects, I believe. They get very knowledgeable people to actually write them for the most part. I am trying to get my first site up to support a business I am trying to start mainly off of eBay auctions at this point. I have tried to use Front Page and a few others and always failed but I think with this book and Netscape Composer, I will be up (at least basically) in a few days.
