. . . briefcase is nothing but a prop Remember back in the good ole days, before Asia, before Russia, before Brazil, when Greenspan excelled at confusing us all by word and deed? Things have changed. Greenspan needs to keep us calm and healthy. Therefore, we now have a briefcase that telegraphs exactly what happens at FOMC. If the briefcase ever proves wrong, I figure the world economy will be back on safe footing.
