Ed, I am excited about this announcement also. IMO this is more than PR. Joint alliances such as these are important. In order to make it work, hardware providers need to comply to the rules. When certain error conditions arise, some specific 'MIB' values are expected in some small storage save area. It would be then, up to the software providers to come up with the 'ease of use', 'functionality', etc. In other words, FC standard implementation would be nice. The absence of Brocade had me wonder if their FC implementations were not entirely standard compliance. KJ
