Hey, if ELCO comes through for you, you're a better man than me. I've been through all of their "we're just about to turn this thing around, folks" press releases, their "deal" with Smith Barney (that's who it was, by the way) that produced zippo, blah, blah, blah.
If I seem bitter at Elco and Crowell, well, I am. It may be undervalued at $2 (although I doubt it), but you're going to have to decide what the time-frame is for the oft-stated but never seen "turn-around." This is the greatest bull-market in history, probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make some money, and I'm not sure having money in a company drifting, drifting, drifting is a very good idea. All I know is that I've more than tripled my holdings after leaving Elco and investing in three other stocks (EGRP, NTKI, WAVX); perhaps coincidental, perhaps not.
Anyway, good luck.
P.S. If you want to read some good posts on Elco, a little dated perhaps but very prescient, check out Passline's posts on Yahoo. He was (and may still be, for all I know) long ELCO, but he also states the skeptical (and so far, accurate) case against them. He also was the guy who turned me on to WAVX, which is a much better place for your money, fwiw. |
