Does anyone know about the Rotary Axial Flow Device (RVAD) that they are animal-testing in preparation for human implants. This device will be smaller, less costly, and need less power than the current VAD's. The trouble is that it is a long 5 to 7 year procedure to have any device tested and approved by the U.S. government. Does anyone have any info. about the current state of the company??
