I'm not saying this isn't possible. But I still remember working at IBM not too many years ago and being told that PC's would never replace the powerful mainframes. But it only took a few episodes of waiting for an hour for that powerful mainframe to do a two minute word processing job for people to be convinced that they would prefer to control the process themselves. I don't see that changing. Of course IBM and ORACLE would love people to be dialing into big IBM computers to search ORACLE databases; but I don't see people giving up their PC's to do that. However, I am keeping an open mind, which is a necessity if you want to invest in technology.
