Stick it to them. I went to the Greenline President Dinner last night in Winnipeg to see if I could rustle some feathers. Great deal on the tickets..spend $10,000+ in commission and get lousy service and they give you free tickets good for free drinks for two hours and some mediocre quiche.

I talked to everyone who would listen to me. I was appalled to find out that nobody even knew there was a problem (or wouldn't admit to it). The two people demonstrating Webbroker were completely clued out. There were trying to tell me that trades went through in 30-45 seconds. I don't think they were to happy went I mentioned infront of about 20 people how long some of my trades take and how often they have screwed up. I also mentioned that they only refund my commission although they often cost me thousands of dollars.

Don't get me wrong... I wasn't some screaming lunatic that had to be dragged kicking and screaming from the building. However I did get a few raised eyebrows and I heard other people after me asking the demonstrators what I was talking about.

Note....what every you do..Do not even consider Etrade as a broker. This is the worst broker service I have every used (although I only every used two others).

1. Almost every trade take 2-5 minutes.
2. Half the time you can't get on the web site
3. When you do get on the site it is very slow
4. They won't answer my letters and nobody in power will talk to you on the phone
5. Out of the last 20 trades I have performed using Etrade they have screwed up on 4 of them.
6. I have now stopped using Etrades and have gone back to Webbroker for the time being.
