Due to the vast resources available to Americans the
consumer has been quantity oriented rather than quality
oriented, in many products.

Cars, toys, clothes, etc.

With technology, I refer to my last post that it is becoming
increasingly difficult to label "Made in xxxxx", due to the
"trans-national" direction of corporations.

The incredible "melting pot" of pioneers, that left their
homogeneous respective countries, to pursue their
individualistic tendencies has greatly influenced the make-up
of the United States....in business and consumer.
(A far reaching topic which would make for interesting discussions)
