Well, it's 3 days to clear a trade but for margin calls Schwab's rules say immediately. I could always close the position or borrow on a credit card but I was just amazed they let me get away with it. I definitely want to hold the position if at all possible even if it requires doing something naughty like getting a cash advance to cover it. I am that sure of this. Best, Jimmy Liberato
