I well appreciate your sound counsel on buying Israeli cybertechs for the long-term. Yet, because of an impetuous nature and chemistry, I do find some of them good candidates as trading stocks. Certainly, I keep some for the long-term, i. e. TEVA. I keep A base in ECILF, but do trade it now and then and have been lucky. BTGC has been wonderful to me as well over the past five years and in particular the last few months.
As for VOCal Tech, I am comforted your assurance that management is first-rate. I hold that one as a boom or bust and if the FCC would get off its behind and rule, VOCLF might just rocket. I am delighted that its management is finally looking beyond the US market and has made arrangements with South Korea, New Zealand and Finland telcoms.
What gives with ELRON? The corpse is awakening. (Mr. Kinitz: If you are looking at funds, ELRNF on Nasdaq is an Israeli holding company of perhaps 8 public and private Israeli firms--a mismash that hasn't exactly set the world on fire. disclosure: A young relative owns stock in it and I've never understood why.)
Best to all. |
