Tom:

Can you explain why the NYSEBP is classified as Bear confirmed: On January 26, it was classified as Bull Correction on the DWA site. During this time it has not fallen from above the 70% (making it Bear alert) or risen from below the 30% (making it bull alert).

In March of 1998, it did fall from above the 70%, making it bear alert and subsequently bear confirmed. Then in October, 1998, it rose from below the 30%, thus making it bull alert and subsequently turning into bull confirmed after hitting a buy signal. In December, 1998, it hit a high of 60. Since it did not rise above 70, and subsequently reverse, shouldn't we still be in a bull correction mode?
