Syl, actually this is nothing like Nortel. Nortel did not warn. In response to a question at an analysts meeting they gave the impression their revenues/earnings would be flat. They tried to correct it the next day but goofed further. Nortel's announcement was an example of bumbling communication, not of revenue/earnings warnings. The stock price moved back up because the revenues and earnings were excellent. Obviously that won't be the case with TECD. This doesn't mean TECD isn't unfairly priced! Stuart.
