SI has gotten so agonizingly slow!! i've read numerous posted complaints from folks who essentially have time to go paint the garage, or go shopping, etc. while waiting for an SI page to load. i have a cable modem, and haven't been experiencing the excruciating wait times they're hollering about. well guess what? last night and today, things have pretty much ground to a crawl around here! and it's not my isp, or my machine. i continue to load other sites that are super graphic-intensive in mere seconds. and i can do this with the sites uncached. then there's SI, the plodder. does anyone address these conditions? is it going to be fixed? when? thank you. mark
