Jeez, Cisco sneezes, and 3Com gets a cold. IMHO, this is a gross overreaction by the market. Because of the convergence of 3 apparently coincidental pieces of news (CSCO is growing mkt share in small/medium businesses, CSCO is seeing aggressive pricing in LAN switching space by unnamed competitors, and Techdata is going to have an unexplained 10% earnings shortfall), we're supposed to ignore the fact that 3Com had an incredibly upbeat analysts conference just last week where they predicted increased gross margins going forward and accelerating top line growth. 3Com is at the beginning of a strong product cycle in an environment of unusually strong growth in the telecoms arena and the US economy in general. Don't bail just when we're hitting the sweet spot, baby! BTW Zolt! are you still leading the battle against WJC, or have you finally thrown in the cards? Doughboy.
