(REUTERS) Fed seen sitting out impact of last fall's easing Fed seen sitting out impact of last fall's easing By Isabelle Clary NEW YORK, Feb 3 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve is expected to keep monetary policy on hold over the coming months while it monitors a robust U.S. economy that has yet to fully absorb the stimulative impact of three interest rate cuts last fall, economists said. The Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) left the federal funds rate unchanged at 4.75 percent after a two-day meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday. The FOMC lowered the overnight interbank lending rate to that level on November 17, the third rate cut since September 29. MORE * end of story *
