Richard, Not to sound like an amoralist, but right and wrong is not going to be factored into this equation. Righting a wrong, when doing so creates a greater wrong, is not the answer. Righting a wrong in such a way that confidence is negatively impacted throughout the system is no solution. Especially since it would only benefit holder's of one specific commodity. Again, the CBs have been manipulating and artificially supporting the POG for years by holding large amounts of the stuff in order to walk the fence between monetary "illusions". This has priced gold far beyond its traditional historic levels. They have already stated that there is a long-term gold of demonetizing gold, so minus a complete shock to the system that brings it tumbling down to ashes, I think you know which side of your bread to butter.
