Richard,thanks,re "The short-against-the-box rules are really not so bad"...... I've looked over publication 550 and others. I've decided to short DIAmonds today to further cut down exposure to what is looking to me like a substantial further correction coming with long bond currently over 5 1/4, sentiment indicators all flashing danger and valuations way extreme now especially considering rising long rates. I am though holding my remaining big semi capex stocks as medium to long term outlook getting better every day Marc
