The ONLY thing keeping me from closing my Etrade account is the 2 weeks down-time it would take to complete the process. If other online brokerages are reading this: MAKE IT EASY FOR ME TO SWITCH. Give me use of my funds immediately upon instituting the transfer and I'm yours. Hey, it worked for MCI v AT&T it can work for you too. Respectfully, Mike (prisoner of etrade)
