In with 4,000 @ 1.86 just before the close...it was an excellent press release (perhaps live presentation was executed rather poorly?...don't know, I wasn't there).

It could also very well be a case of driving the price down for a huge runup tomorrow or Friday...I've put a call into Valu-net's contact as listed in PR and will post any info I get from him. In the meantime, the strategic partners seem solid and I doubt if a bank would get involved in any "scam"...at the very least, the ASE should ask the company to comment on the steep price drop today..

Manipulation of a small float is possible...I am currently watching it happen with one of my favourite stocks right now (Royal Laser Tech - tse). The institutional buyers seem to "control" the board, i.e. bid and ask...go on to scare the smaller retail investor into dumping their shares and then buy-in big time before earnings are released (always stellar) early March. At $5.95 today, and I can almost gurantee it will be $12 range in next few weeks.

VNE's release, also remember, takes a day or two to be digested rationally by institutions...have noticed that when good news is released, those "bad" guys dump, only to find the stock has inherent value which eventually is realized by the market. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with news of TSE and/or NASDAQ listing??

Hang in...
