S , WLA

My question has to do with bollinger bands. Is there a lag, ie do we know that it has tagged the lower BB after it has reversed and gone ahead a couple of points.
Look at WLA at your favourite askresearch site, a few days back it bottomed at 65 odd, now it is at 74, Looking at the chart today, with hind sight you can clearly see that it tagged the lower BB at 65, after it has made the move to 74.
Look at S, The BB looks as if it has a couple of points more of downside, whereas the candles show that it has reversed? See yesterday there was a sort of, kind of doji star, today it has a white candle
yet the BB doesn't quite hug 40.
Will we see it after a couple of days ( if it indeed goes to say 42)

thanks.
Ramesh.
