Sorry guys, but to me it sounds like a lot of bitter grapes. Given the strength of the Nike brand, it is very easy to drive a valuation of Nike that justifies a current price in the 40s.

I know you like to think that Nike is like Izod, as if Izod ever had 1/10 of Nike's success or sales, but it isn't.

Fashion comes and goes, and sneakers are going through a bit of a low point now, but it all comes back. 80s music is on the radios again, and 80s fashion is trickling back.

Even if there is a market meltdown, I don't think Nike will underperform the market going forward.

But you guys like to short term trade anyways. I'm not into that model of investing. Come tell me about it in 2009.
