I was surprised to see this stock mentioned here on SI cause it has been a huge dog. The only site with any consistent information is on Yahoo's HMT board. Donaldban over there seems to know a lot about the stock and he and I have talked over the last year about HMT. I think that the stock is having some game played with it regarding the $1.00 special dividend. I am taking it in stock but it is no longer the good deal it was a month ago. For what it's worth, there was some mention of Marriott hotels in WSJ today and their occupancy rate is the envy of all other chains. This is the best portfolio of hotel properties around, no one loves REITs just now. They are boring and do not appreciate 20% a day. Sharon
