Hi, BAM

I would like to suggest that perhaps there are some additional reasons for the poor quality of the TV onthe Web's video presentation. First as you have already indicated, there are bandwidth limitations, secondly there could be some limiting factors imposed by the video players, e.g. Real Player..etc. which creates the annoying buffering problem.

In addition, recall that Ed B has stated that this "prototype" (my words) was to hone the skills and gain experience in presentations on the Web, thereby establishing an early and recognizable presence, such that when the bandwidth does become available, Ampex and its strategic partners will be well positioned for to move rapidly into a pervasive leadership role.

With the above perspective in mind, the video presentation does not seem so devastating to me. Obviously there is additional work to be done. Anyway, this is just IMHO. Thanks!
