Janice, your points are well taken. Remember, however, that USR promises modem standard conformance through free software update. Whether people will believe (or even become aware of) this is questionable, but more important I feel, is word of mouth that x2 is everything it's been hyped (hoped?) to be.

The IBD articles on 56 K are either incredibly naive or cleverly costructed paid "infomercials' from ROK.

Acta, non verba. We need a little action from USR. Forget the word battles.
